Will it be on the Wii U or not? |
Earlier this week, the ESRB listed the Wii U as one of the platforms for the upcoming tactical first-person shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, hinting that it was coming to Nintendo's new console. Now it appears that may not be true. As reported by Jason Dunning of TrendyGamers, the ESRB has updated the ratings page for the game, and the revised entry now lists the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Macintosh as the only platforms the game will be released on. Both the Wii U and Vita are now absent from the list. Dunning has speculated that either the ESRB was mistaken, or the developer, City Interactive, might not be ready to announce a Wii U version of the game. Another possible explanation is that developer simply changed their minds and decided not to port the game to the new platform. Whatever the case may be, we'll have more news on this as it breaks.
