Will the Wii U version have everything? |
Activision just announced that Call of Duty Elite services will be free for Black Ops 2, but it appears the details for the Wii U version aren't yet set in stone. Christopher Grant of The Verge asked Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg if the Wii U version would have "compatibility with the full suite of Elite services, the Season Pass, and Individual Map Packs." Hirshberg replied, "That's our goal, but the honest answer here, Chris, is that we're still working out the details with Nintendo." Hirshberg said he will have a "more definitive answer in the near future."
As Grant puts it, Activision has announced that Call of Duty Elite services will be free for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions, but it remains to be seen if those services will be free for the Wii U. As for the DLC, it will be available for the other platforms with the various Map Pack and Season Pass options, but it is still unclear if the Wii U version will have any DLC support.
