Wii U update is live
Nintendo announced there would be a day one update for the Wii U, and it has just gone live. If you are one of the lucky few who already have the console, you should be able to download it now. According to Rich of IGN, it adds a bar to the system menu that has Miiverse, eShop, the Internet browser, notifications and chat. He is also reporting that the update disables the Wii U auto-shutoff feature which is definitely great news as it will surely prevent a good number of gamers from losing hours of game progress.
