Road Redemption reaches Kickstarter goal

The Kickstarter for Road Redemption has reached its Kickstarter goal of $160,000. Indie developer DarkSeas Games says the Road Rash-inspired racer is scheduled for release on the PC, Mac, and Linux in August 2014 with a Wii U port "following a few months after."

The official description promises "state-of-the-industry combat controls, insane crashes, destructible environments, AI, ragdoll physics, and online multiplayer." There are four mission types planned, along with a multitude of various weapons for players to use against their rivals.

DarkSeas Games consists of former staff members from well-known developers who worked on some very high-profile games, including Star Wars: The Old RepublicEpic Mickey and The God of War series.  For more about the company and their plans, check out the official Kickstarter via the link below. Trailer after the break.
