The promotional pricing for the Wii U Virtual Console version of F-Zero is coming to an end, but that means another game will be available for just €0.30/£0.30/$.030 for 30 days. This month's featured title is Punch-Out!! featuring Mr. Dream, which will be available starting Wednesday, March 20th.

In a press release, Nintendo has confirmed that Europe will be getting a version based on the NTSC release of the game, which means it will be running in 60Hz rather than 50Hz like the slower PAL version. There was quite a backlash when it was revealed that Nintendo had given Europeans the PAL Balloon Fight again, and the Big N seems to have gotten the message. Here's an excerpt from the press release:

Punch-Out!! (Nintendo) - €0.30/£0.30

Part of the Family Computer 30th Anniversary Campaign.

What rookie boxer Little Mac lacks in size, he makes up for in determination. And with trainer Doc Louis by his side, Little Mac is ready to win big! NES classic Punch-Out!! pits your pint-sized pugilist against such diverse rivals as the fragile-jawed Frenchman Glass Joe, sucker-punching Russian Soda Popinski and the Hollywood heavyweight Super Macho Man. Use jabs, body blows, hooks and uppercuts to discover your opponent's weak spot and make the knockout blow. Also, look out for an appearance by Mario as the referee!

This release is based on the US-NTSC version of the game running at 60Hz.
