WayForward Technologies have confirmed that their hit 3DS title Mighty Switch Force 2 is coming to the Wii U eShop. Matt Bozon, one of the employees of the developer, had said that they were considering an HD port earlier this summer, which isn't surprising given how well-received the HD remake of the original game was.
The studio says that it's "a backburner project right now," so it might be a while before it arrives, and no media has been released yet. You can find a trailer for the 3DS version after the break.
